Sandra Coan Certification: Is it worth applying for?

The answer is absolutely YES. It's totally worth it. I became a Sandra Coan-certified photographer this year and can't be happier to be part of this fantastic program.

But why did I decide to apply?

Well, let me start from the very beginning, back in 2020 when I met Sandra through her book "Crafting the Natural Light Look." At the time, I was struggling with light and looking for consistency in my work, and suddenly, I found Sandra Coan and her one-light approach to creating soft and beautiful light.

From there, lighting wasn't a problem anymore in my creative process. Even the editing process became really easy and predictable because of the light I was able to produce.

But I wanted to go in-depth, learn more about lighting, posing, and marketing, book more clients, feel more confident, and join a photography community. And this is what Sandra Coan Certification offers.

Besides the education phase, where you will learn A LOT, you have an AMAZING community of fellow photographers, including Sandra, who is always ready to help and give you the best advice.

The retreat.

There is a yearly retreat, and I had the opportunity to attend the first retreat and meet Sandra and all my fellow photographers. It was such a great experience spending time with the community, learning from each other, sharing our experiences, and, for sure, taking too many pictures.
